A Malawi hanging pod chair is a handcrafted seating piece originating from Malawi, Africa. Skilled artisans weave these chairs using natural cane, creating a cocoon-like structure designed to be suspended from a ceiling or stand. This design offers a comfortable and stylish space for relaxation.

Hanging rope and cushions are not included. You will need minimum 2 x 5-metre length of 16mm rope (We do not sell the rope)
Please note that chairs in custom colours or with sealant applied are made to order and therefore require a lead time of 1 – 1.5 weeks from the date of purchase.
Care Note:
Not recommended for enclosed, poorly ventilated areas where mould may develop.
Usage:
Ideal for indoor spaces or covered outdoor areas that are completely sheltered from rain, direct sunlight, and moisture.
